City Council invest in community, not jails
Santa Ana, CA – This Tuesday the Santa Ana City Council will hold a Work Study Session on Rent Control/Stabilization to learn about potential policies designed to protect tenants in the city. This includes a Tenant Protections Ordinance with policies such as Just Cause Evictions, Rent Control and Rent Stabilization; and the closing of the Santa Ana City Jail which costs the city up to $20 million a year to maintain.
